Welcome to the Bridge! We are so glad that you have joined us today. NorthBridge Church exists to be a safe place for people to encounter the God of the universe. We are a community of people seeking truth and pursuing God with passion and abandon. Annual Meeting Celebration Our Annual Meeting will take place this Sunday night at the VFW in Antioch from 5:30-8:00 p.m. As co-stewards of the mission and resources that God has entrusted to our church, it is critical for all the members of the NorthBridge family to come together to look back & celebrate and look ahead & anticipate. The meeting will include a presentation of the 2010-11 budget, a full update on facility developments as well as an open Q & A with pastors, elders and finance team. The meeting will be preceded by a potluck dinner. Fall Kickoff!! Can you believe that Fall is right around the corner? We will start it off on Sunday, September 12 with a brand new series called Elemental Christianity. It will be a great time to bring friends! More details will be coming soon. This is also the date for Stepping Stones Move Up Day! The new curriculum will start and all of the new second graders will receive their Bibles. Student Ministries News Attention, Attention, Attention - the time has finally come! theElement (High School) and Nucleus (Junior High) are gearing up to get started on September 13 (theElement) and September 15 (Nucleus). Leading up to those start dates is something just for the parents. As a ministry, we desire to continue to develop our partnership with you, the parents. On September 8 we are asking that all parents of a 6th - 12th grader join us at the Ministry Center from 7-9pm. The discussion will be focused on what this next year will look like. We will also provide an opportunity to meet the leaders that will be involved in the lives of your student this school year. Nth Degree Adventure Race Join us on Saturday, October 9 for the Antioch Adventure Race. The NorthBridge Nth Degree (adventure trip) Ministry teams up with the Village of Antioch to bring you this exciting chance to compete with feats for the body and mind. Greg Laurie - Harvest Chicago is hosting a large-scale outreach crusade featuring Pastor Greg Laurie from California. This event takes place September 24-26 at the Allstate Arena. Check out www.harvest.org for more information. Books of the Series We still have some books of the series available. The two featured books, “Questioning Evangelism” and “Spiritual Conversations: Creating and Sustaining Them Without Being a Jerk”, are great tools to help you get a handle on how to start spiritual conversations. Visit the Info. Center during Common Ground time at church to check them out. ShareFest News: We hope you will mark your calendars and plan to participate in ShareFest 2010.
